Cantine Dalena was founded in 1965 by patriarch Pietro Dalena in Mottola. In 2007, Domenico Dalena specialized exclusively in viticulture, transforming estate-grown grapes, leading to the third generation with Pietro Dalena managing the winery and innovations.
Our 10 hectares of vineyards are perched at 400 meters above sea level in Mottola, on the western slopes of the Taranto Murgia facing Lucania. Blessed with breezes from the Ionian Sea and the Apennines and great day-night temperature swings, we produce wines of authentic character: Primitivo, Negroamaro, Montepulciano, Bianco d’Alessano, Verdeca, and Fiano.
