Apulian wine since 1965: the history and secrets of Cantine Dalena were born in Mottola, in the province of Taranto, founded by patriarch Pietro Dalena. In 2007, the second generation with Domenico Dalena specialized exclusively in viticulture, transforming estate-grown grapes, leading to the third generation with Pietro Dalena managing the winery.

Ranked among the historic cellars in Apulia and a landmark among wine producers in Taranto, Cantine Dalena tends 10 hectares of vineyards at 400m altitude on the western slopes of the Murgia. Marked day-night temperature swings combined with marine air from the Ionian Sea and the Apennines impart remarkable aromatic depth to Primitivo, Negroamaro, Montepulciano, Bianco d’Alessano, Verdeca, and Fiano.

"Apulian wine since 1965: the history and secrets of Cantine Dalena are carved into the hills of Mottola and kept alive through our family’s passion."
